With almost 20 years of experience in healthcare, laboratory and preventive medicine, and medical education, I’ve watched the science of diet, nutrition, and exercise develop over the years.  As a certified health and keto coach, the ketogenic diet is the single most effective and satisfying way I can help as many people as possible live healthier, happier, and longer lives.

Insulin dysfunction is the number-one health problem in the United States.  It is associated with obesity, diabetes, cancer, metabolic syndrome, high blood pressure, stroke, cognitive disorders, fatty liver, and other organ and hormone problems. I have found no better method to assist others in overall health and wellness than the ketogenic diet and eating plan.  Going “keto” has changed my life and the lives of my family, friends, and clients, and I’m pleased to share my experience with you.

Although it’s commonly called the keto diet, the ketogenic eating plan does not restrict calories. It is normal for clients to eat 2000 or more calories a day based on their age, sex, body type, and activity levels. Most of the “packaged” diet plans severely restrict calories to create only temporary weight loss.


The keto eating plan is not primarily concerned with weight loss.
The primary goals are health, wellness, and encouraging proper insulin, hormone, and organ function.  The natural results of these improvements are weight loss, increased energy, improved mood, and improved mental clarity, which is why the keto diet has become so popular.

The keto lifestyle is concerned with removing unnatural and commercially produced chemicals, unhealthy oils, and deceptive artificial sweeteners from our diets and our bodies by eating whole, healthy foods. This includes healthy fats, proteins, carbohydrates, and proper vitamins and minerals.

You don’t need expensive supplements, powders, or oils for healthy keto, just a trip to the grocery store.  There are numerous products out there trying to take advantage of those who don’t understand the principles of healthy ketosis, and most of them are a waste of money.  In coaching, I help clients learn the basic principles of healthy ketosis, and help them understand which products on the market are valuable, as well as the many that are not.

This keto coaching program offers weekly coaching sessions that include education, meal planning, and goal monitoring.  The program starts with a free introductory session to answer questions and talk about the risks and benefits of going keto.  I also include “in the kitchen” sessions for those who live locally to talk about the foods already in your home, as well as time to teach you how to make specific recipes if needed.


The ketogenic eating plan can have a dramatic impact on your health and wellness goals, but there are very few properly trained coaches to assist clients in healthy ketosis, lifestyle coaching, exercise, and stress management.  MCS is here to help you make healthy and sustainable changes to your life.
